Studio 6 National City, CA - Naval Base San Diego

I had such a great experience at Studio 6, and I especially want to thank Cassandra. She is literally an angel. From the moment I arrived she was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and that I felt comfortable during my stay. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely cares the way she does, and her attitude made a huge difference in my experience. Studio 6 is lucky to have her. Thank you again, Cassandra!

The property was nice and quiet, the rooms were clean and comfortable but most importantly the staff was welcoming, professional, courteous and did alot to make my stay enjoyable.

Excelente services. We checked out of another hotel late night due to horrible conditions and right away the front desk helped us feel welcomed and reassured us if there were any issues to let him know right away. The room was spotless. We were able to get a late check out and no one was rushing us out. I highly recommend this place.

I usually don't leave impressed by a motel or stay enough to review it, but this one left me satisfied and happy especially for the price. This was an affordable stay, and the rooms themselves were spacey, had amenities like kitchen sink, toaster, microwave, etc. Usually for the price I paid for this stay, I would get hotels that have weird mold or cigarette smells, but not here. Everything was clean, the people were nice and helpful, the only minus I could think of was that there wasn't mini shampoos or conditioners to use, but there was bars of soap. Overall, great stay for the price, and parking was free, so that's a plus. Right next to the 5 freeway, easy to get on the road from the location of the motel.

First time visiting National City and I stayed at studio 6 extended stay. The room was so clean and happy I had a full size refrigerator. Studio 6 is pet friendly I was able to bring my dog. Front desk manager is kind and friendly with all his customers. I will come back to stay here. I appreciate the wonderful hospitality that studio 6 provided.

We stayed at this Motel 6 while we were touring the city. Check-in was easy and efficient. The front desk worker was quick with payment, gave clear directions, and even offered us the choice of an upper or lower room, which we appreciated. The room was clean overall. The sheets were fresh, pillows were nicely puffed, and there were plenty of towels for showering. Like most Motel 6 rooms, there were a few cosmetic wear-and-tear spots such as a scuff mark on the wall from the chair back and some grime buildup on the floor transition strip between the laminate. The bathtub and shower curtain were showing their age, but OVERALL everything was CLEAN. The water pressure was great. The room also had a full-size fridge that was very clean inside, a microwave, a large TV, drawers for storage, and even a dish rack for drying items. There was no shampoo or conditioner provided (I did not ask if the front had any), because I had brought my own so it wasn’t an issue. The one real downside was the bed. It was extremely firm, almost like sleeping on the sidewalk. I hope they can add a simple foam topper someday (covered by a waterproof zippered protector of some sort), that would make a BIG difference in comfort. Overall, we would stay there again. The location was convenient, the parking lot was well lit with plenty of security cameras, and it worked perfectly for the one night we needed it.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were traveling with a large dog and everything was fine. Rooms have a fridge, coffeemaker, sink, and bathtub. Only negatives were the parking was pretty tight so if you have SUV or larger its hard to get in and out. Also, open prostitution was day and night on the surrounding streets and not walkable. We had no issues on our 4 day trip. It was quiet.
